David,
Just a quick note to say thanks for not just a great event on the weekend but, most particularly, for the opportunity to travel there and back in such style. Interestingly, even the steering felt much more natural on the return trip and the car actually feels (and sounds) so lively and right, like my idea of a proper sports / race car - I reckon I could drive it all day with no problem. The whole experience of the drive and the event was another reminder of why the Mustang became and remains such an icon. It's also comforting to know that such history is in the hands of the right owners and a good club. The only downside of the day was that, after delivering the Mustang back to its garage, the drive back home in the Commodore seemed so very very dull.
Regards
Tony
Tony,
Thank you for your kind words.
The day went off extremely well with 140 Mustangs in the Show ‘n’ Shine and 9 entered for the Concours.
It was great to be able to run a State Concours in conjunction with a general Mustang show and the family/community aspect promoted by the Holroyd Council was an added bonus.
We will work on building up the Concours side of the event as it is an excellent opportunity to further educate the judges and prepare entrants for National level.
Thank you again for your support of the event and I trust it was also
beneficial to Shannons.
All the best,
David
